Gapeworm? Respitory? Or something else?

VetRx was put in the water. The natural dewormer (spices) didn't do anything since it's for other worms and doesn't work on adult gapeworms (we didn't know) and there worse were sure it's gape because of the gapeing. We think they got a respitory bacteria infection and the lowered immune got them gapeworm because of a outbreak in bird sickness in the area. They arnt aspirating at all I believe is there anyway to check?
Spices will not treat any type of worms.
You want to use a dewormer like Fenbendazole (Safeguard/Panacur) or Albendazole (Valbazen) to treat most worms that poultry can have. Praziquantel is used to treat Tapeworms.

Gapeworm is not that common, so you may be dealing with respiratory illness or possibly a crop problem. Both can cause some of the symptoms you describe.

If it's respiratory disease, an antibiotic like Tylosin can help with symptoms, but you really want to try to determine if they have respiratory illness or something else going on like a crop problem.
