I can't remember how long ago I put this in the freezer but I'm pretty sure it was before 1992.

I am beginning to think that the best way to preserve food is by going back to canning
when we cleaned out granny's basement in about 1968 we found lots of pickles in jars from around 1946.. some of the lids were rusted away.. but some were intact and the pickles still smelled OK. but we dumped everything anyway..
I think I have the off flavored ice cube problem fixed.. will know for sure in a day or two after I get the vinegar smell out of the freezer..
