In the Brooder
Hello all!
I have several 6 week old chicks that I'm raising. Two of them are White Leghorns, and I have zero prior experience with this breed so I was hoping some of the peeps on here could help me figure out the gender of them! I know they're still young so it might be difficult for people to tell, but any feedback is appreciated.
The farmer that I purchased them from said they were both female, but I'm a little skeptical. One has a significantly larger comb than the other, which makes me suspect that "he" might be a cockerel. However, since I'm inexperienced with Leghorns I'm not sure if it's normal for a 6-week old to already have a somewhat big comb.
Here are some photos of them. I'm referring to them as "1" and "2" since they don't have names yet. Thanks in advance for any help!
