Sorry, just realized this is a duplicate of this thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1166286/gender-of-silver-duckwing-oegb-chick

I've heard that silver duckwing old English game bantams can sometimes be sexed by down color. If not, by what age can I tell gender? I know male and female silver duckwing look quite different.
Chick 1:
400

Chick 2:
400

400

Chick 3:
400

400

I think it has to do with how dark the eye stripe is .one sex has a Darker striped in the other but I don't remember which is which.

Okay I found it .
chick number three is a male.
chick number 2 is a female
that's how you tell, by the difference in the head stripe. The boldness or lack thereof in the head stripe.
It is also written and studied that the female has 3 colors in the head stripe and the male only has 2 colors.

General knowledge : pullets have shorter legs, they sprout tails first, and they grow their feathers faster.
Best,
