Genders on salmon faverolles

I hatched 9 little salmon faverolles two weeks ago and I’m trying to figure out if I have males or females. I’m starting to fear I have a lot of males from the amount of black I see, but I’m just not sure. The woman I got the eggs from said her rooster came from a breeder, but the hens came from an animal swap so the chicks may be partially hatchery stock. Any help is appreciated!

A couple of weeks will tell the tale for sure. Several do appear to be cockerels.

Not great with theses so i am probably wrong but I think 7 or 8 of those birds are cockerels

Darn! That’s what my initial thought was too. REALLY hoping I’m wrong or I have a lot of rehoming to do in a few weeks!

Did you get them rehomed? We are looking for a roo for our new hens.
