Golden laced Polish from feed store, labeled as pullets. 6 weeks old. Is Cheeto a girl or boy?

Hair might say boy. Comb and waddle both have a scratch on them, but what do we think besides the scratches? The air is very dry here, which may be contributing to scratches and retained sheathes. Tail has me worried as it is very different from the white laced Polish we got at the same time. It's very sticky-uppy. Hoping for a hen.

I just had a broody hen hatch a couple of Polish. I've never had any before. I will say, they are the hardest ones I've ever had to sex. I'm going to say yours looks hennish since I can't tell or see if there are any pointy saddle feathers coming in or any wattle development yet. Here's a picture of my 2 at 6.5 weeks. If I had to guess, I'd say the buff is a roo and the other is a hen. The buff carries its tail a bit differently and the crest looks messier. We will see. Please update when you know if you have a hen or roo. It's gorgeous!
