It's 10 pm here I never check them this late, I was reading it could be bc her crop is full for the night, should I just leave her be and check in the morning?? Or is it too big for that?? No sour smell and she's acting 100% normal

It is just her crop which is full of food. Perfectly normal, it's just that you notice it more at this age when they are growing fast and eating lots to fuel that growth. Some are more gluttonous than others and really pack their crop full. It will go down overnight if you remove food, but nothing to be concerned about at this age unless you are giving them inappropriate food.

Okay thank you everyone! I forgot to double check their water after the toddlers went to bed to make sure no one knocked it over/ knocked shavings in it and I almost had a heart attack when I seen her! I've never noticed a full crop on them before I was worried she had a tumour now I feel silly lol. Thank you so much for the reassurance. (She's on medicated chick starter, and plays outside but has grit available to help break up her buggy treats)

They hit an age where their crop seems to become really prominent and you are one of many people who post about this, so don't feel like a fool. Better to be observant and ask about anything you are not sure of, as miss something that might be serious or be too frightened of looking a fool to ask.
