Good quail toys/entertainment?

I'm new to quail and hadn't read yet that they like toys, so I'm glad I came across this thread, these are all great ideas! I have 6 inch by 3 inch rocks in my set up, they're only two days old but jump on and off of them. They are so active and cute!
And they feather in pretty quick. Mine are 2weeks and 3/4 feathered already! They grow so fast!

I want to know what to do to stop my quail from crowing in the night. I don't mind the day because nobody is asleep but not a 3 or 5 in the morning. I don't want anything cruel or harsh and I have noticed that my quail does it every time he is happy. Also are there any plants or bugs that Coturnix quails can eat. :p:p:idunno

I tied a rubber snake to my quails foot with fishing line.... it was great entertainment :lau
This doesn't sound very safe to me. What if the snake got caught on something, and pulled the fishing line tight on her foot. Fishing line is made of plastic, and when it gets tight, it hurts!
Sorry for shutting this idea down, but I wouldn't try that again. Surly it was fun in the moment though.

Perhaps you should reread my entire post...

How many do you have? How many males and females? How old are they?

Quails love mealworms, I have fed mine crickets too. Here's a good video on some other things they eat....

You say “quail” as if you only have one male. If this is the case he is lonely, not happy, and is trying to attract a female, or rather multiple females. The average Coturnix roo needs 3 to 6 hens to be satisfied.
