Guys I’m back again with questions about Cheese and her weird nesting habits. So she currently is sitting on her nest at night and in the early mornings and afternoons and is off during midday when it’s the hottest. However I went out tonight and noticed she wasn’t sitting fully on all of the eggs. She also decided to nest in a mulched area so I’m not sure the nest is insulated well enough as it has been getting pretty cold recently. Should I add bedding to her nest? Remove some of the eggs? I would like to try and let her hatch as many healthy little goslings as possible. Any tips? Below is a picture of her nest.

You can add bedding and remove eggs if you choose, it’s really up to you if you want to assist her and how much. If she’s removing eggs herself she likely has too many, and if they’re pushed out repeatedly and left too long they’re going to go rancid quicker.
