Goose that thinks its a duck.........duck that thinks its a Goose...

I have so many different critters I think some of mine are getting confused. Lol
I have a white goose that truly thinks she is a duck. She.will not socialize with the geese at all...she follows all the ducks. Its funny to watch them.all line up and see her at the end.
Then I have a black and white duck that thinks he's a Canada Goose. He follows them everywhere...hangs out... Just one of their flock even thou I have plenty of ducks....nope..he's a Canada Goose...not even one of the sebbi geese....hehe

Thats funny, I too have a gander who thinks he's a duck, but now we're trying to convince him he really is a goose. since we finally got him a mate, he has always lived with ducks since hatched over 5 years ago.

When I had a small flock of Pilgrim geese, the dominant gander got all the female geese, and the other gander got the duck flock. He hung out with them all the time.

Currently, I have one Pilgrim gander and one male Ancona duck. That's because I got the Pilgrim from hatching out a small order of hatching eggs from Ebay, and he was the only survivor, and my Ancona was the only duck I had that didn't follow the flock down the road and get hit by a truck.

I had a runner drake and white chinese goose married couple. The duck was very protective of his goose wife.
