Goslings Hard To Find!

Went to order goslings from Metzer and pretty much females of every breed sold out through the remainder of season except white chinese and embden breeds, on occasional weeks a male of other breeds is available. So I ordered 4 embden females and 1 giant dewlap toulouse male for the minimum order requiremnent, he was VERY expensive compared to the embden girls. I wonder if any goslings I might get from the cross will retain the dewlap feature. I assume all goslings from the cross would be toulouse colored, but one can hope for a white dewlap looking goose?

Definitely! You can get multiple mixes and sorts! As well as just the full breed with no mixes.

lucked out and found a trio from Top Shelf Dewlap Toulouse geese, just got them today.

You could try Welp, I bought 4 straight run Toulouse and 4 straight run buff from them, all are healthy and happy. Arrived in great shape from New Mexico of all places.
