Waiting for a few of the chickens to find their way home so I can close their doors and I'm done for the day outside. Its been a most pleasant day out side for a change. The temp never got out of the 70's.

Nice when the weather cools down. We're heading that way too. September 22nd is fall.

So Austin comes in with this.
Brown widow spiders are venomous. Not as bad as a black widow. They play dead. We got it out of the jar and got a good shot of its back. It flattened out real well to play dead. Interesting. The hour glass shape is on its belly.

We have Black Widows here on our place. Every time we move some like piece of lumber we have to watch for them. Have not seen a brown recluse yet.

We stopped using sugar in iced tea long ago. It's now either sucralose or stevia for the sake of not becoming diabetic.

I think we get enough sugar in junk food that we all to often snack on. Yup. Like my fig newtons.
