Does everyone on here get the flu shot? I didn't. I've been taking vitamins religiously, thinking if I get sick it will help me fight it off. DH got the flu shot almost 3 weeks ago and has been fighting flu symptoms since. I know it doesn't mean he got it from the shot. He's on antibiotics, inhaler and Robitussin now.

Yes, I get my flu and covid shots every year and it really helps me, but I also eat healthy, drink a lot of tea, and take supplements to keep my immune system up

I called the doctor's office. The radiologist has not looked at the films yet. The doctor looked at them and said she didn't see anything....ugh. still waiting.

Thanks. She feeds him in her room. I'll tell her to feed in the crate. I'm not sure if he is actually "protecting" GC, or "resource guarding" her ... if he is, you know, establishing her as his territory, his "safe place" if that makes sense. I had her pet Sammy and fuss over him a little bit when he did that to show the puppy that Sammy is "family" and he has to accept him. Don't know if that got through. Sammy can be kind of a jerk too though.

As I am sure you all know, resource guarding from a human is vary bad thing. You should be able to take anything out of your dogs mouth.

Yes, and she does and he lets her. I can get Sammy to drop things too but he runs around and barks and acts like a jerk about it. I am the alpha and he knows it but he doesn't like it. He will not bite me but he wants to, lol.

Out of the clear blue the forecast low for tonight has been lowered for tonight to 49°. We may have an early frost this year. As soon as it goes dormant I have a muscadine grape vine I want to properly prune so it will produce more. I need to put in two end posts with #9 wire for it to run on out to 10' in each direction. Wish I knew what variety it is but as least they are quite flavorful even if a small diameter one. They might be a Noble that is most often used for red wine. We make some very good jelly with them. And speaking of jelly, Ma made a lot more Strawberry - Muscadine Jam today. Maybe tomorrow she will make some Peach, Muscadine, Strawberry Jam.
