You're giving me some things to think about, Larry.We don't have a problem with the mulberry leaves, they just blow around along with the leaves from all the oak, hickory and maple leaves we have around here. But a couple of years ago we had two does, each with her two fawns, that came here every day for over a week to munch on the mulberry leaves. Must have been a poor year for acorns. This year was a very good year for acorns - and hence a bad year for the hunters.

That's interesting... wonder if he did mean to?Sammy did a good thing tonight but I'm not sure if he meant to. One of the hens got out by flying over the fence and I was trying to herd her back through the gate. She kept missing it, going past it. Sammy, Jenny and Ryder were ... NOT helping and we couldn't round them up to put them in the house to get them out of the way. Suddenly Sammy chased the chicken and herded her right through the gate! He seemed a little hysterical and out of control, but ... he got the job done, lol! Not sure what to think. It LOOKED like he did it on ourpose, but ...
