An old member sent me a ton of collards? seeds said they could take the cold here. I know they taste better after a frost but container grown they never did anything. Oh I think it was turnips I figured if I couldn't get the greens I could at least get a root. NopeI want to go to bed but it is to early. I'd be up wide awake by 3am and it won't be warm enough to do outside things until noon tomorrow. I do need to start seed in the morning for several cool weather crops. Cabbage plants are already almost big enough to transplant. The collards we planted last fall did well during our blizzard and sub freezing temps into the low teens.
