I feel your pain.  We are replacing the top 6" of our raised garden beds this year to get rid of a forest clover that has taken up residence and kills anything I plant there, if it comes up at all. 
Starting a few things in the greenhouse in the next couple weeks and hope to have some pretty solid plants come May to transplant out there.  Need those garden beds fixed by then or it won't matter what I do ahead of time.
Apparently, we are going to get snow later this week.  Thought maybe we escaped that this year.
