Granny's gone and done it again

I want to go to bed but it is to early. I'd be up wide awake by 3am and it won't be warm enough to do outside things until noon tomorrow. I do need to start seed in the morning for several cool weather crops. Cabbage plants are already almost big enough to transplant. The collards we planted last fall did well during our blizzard and sub freezing temps into the low teens.
An old member sent me a ton of collards? seeds said they could take the cold here. I know they taste better after a frost but container grown they never did anything. Oh I think it was turnips I figured if I couldn't get the greens I could at least get a root. Nope

The weeds here are impossible to pull up. Your better off digging the plant up and try to get rid of them that way. Its some type of grass.
I feel your pain. We are replacing the top 6" of our raised garden beds this year to get rid of a forest clover that has taken up residence and kills anything I plant there, if it comes up at all.

Starting a few things in the greenhouse in the next couple weeks and hope to have some pretty solid plants come May to transplant out there. Need those garden beds fixed by then or it won't matter what I do ahead of time.

Apparently, we are going to get snow later this week. Thought maybe we escaped that this year.

Well, we normally get a little each year. Comes at different times. We don't generally get a lot of it, so it will be fine. But I do want to be able to get into my greenhouse and play in the dirt. (Not that I like playing in the dirt!) I would like to can my own tomatoes this year.

Bad pain day today. Finally got Toms diapers and I changed him and it was a lot easier on my back! Then he tells me he cant pull them down to use the bathroom. He only has one good arm. Heartbroken. IDK what to do now. There not gonna take them back twice. I should of known this already. :hit🎩

I Love playing in the dirt. There's actually something in dirt that combats depression. I will see if I can find it

So sorry...sounds like a difficult situation for everyone.

I tend to be a clean freak of sorts. 🤣 I have to wear long sleeves, gloves and boots to get out in the dirt. I really hate gardening, but I want stuff, soooo....
