Not sure what to do , down to about 40 hens and got a whopping 6 dozen eggs in the last week. That's at least 40 or more birds missing in under 3 weeks, Live trap is set and the pop door closed snugley.

Good grief! You need a camera out there! Are they disappearing at night or during the day? Do you free range? Could it be a snake? Have to be a big one, going through about two a day ... do you have big snakes up thataway?

When our kidney function stops we stop.

he only walks very little in the house. He doesnt want to go out anymore. Thank you

no Big snakes, they have about 1/3 acre surrounded by a 6 ft high woven horse fence with wooden boards on top and bottom.

I know we had a large owl hanging out there by pretty sure he couldn't carry away a full grown hen.
