Company has arrived. A pet pullet didn't go roost with another pet pullet as normal tonight. They've been roosting together for sometime now. They were together an hour ago and now she is no where to be found. Ma is outside seeing if she can find her and maybe she will come to the sound of her voice.. Ma just came in. No Flopsie.

Oh dear... But what we wouldn't do for our pets!

I used to live for the rain. It was my inner peace. Now I hate to see it come. Makes me hurt so bad that I cant think of anything else. I am sick to my stomach even after zofran.

My Blue Satin silkie came out as a rooster today. I saw him crow for the first time. He is the only rooster in a grow out coop with about 30 pullets.

Luckiest rooster! His dad has only 3 hens with him. He'd be proud!

Granny I hadn't given it any thought but yes the rains came today and my left shoulder had talked trash at me most of the day.

Now to find a way to get him some blue hens also. All those other pullets will not be his after a bit. They are going on a sale poster for the CoOp and Tractor Supply stores around me. He's only going to get silkie girls for now. Except for the EExRIR pullets he grew up with. He gets to keep them. That ought to be a confusing state of affairs.

Today is the anniversary of the USS Indianapolis sinking. Since it was on a secret mission, nobody sent a distress call. All those men ( over 1,000) floated in the water, watching their ship mates get eaten by sharks. By the time help arrived, there were less than 400 men left!
