Granny's gone and done it again

Outside of taking care of chickens I'm resting today. Tomorrow is going to be a great day for working outside with the temp only going to 84° for a couple of hours. It will also be cloudy and that helps also. I plan on cultivating the weeds from the fall crop of purple hull peas and picking okra and the peppers. I need to start on building a special coop for the silkies with an iron clad run that is predator proof I want the run covered for rain protection and plan on having a section the greens can grow up through a wire grid so they can scratch them all up. I already have a bucket of ashes to mix with the sand for a dust batch. They will get the royal treatment.

Thanks be to Shrek for posting the link about getaclue in the Old Folks thread. I had corresponded with her as she lives in the area near where I grew up and still have family members living. She wanted to meet for a lunch and I'm sad now that we can't.

I've been worried about her for some time. Those treatments were pretty rough on her..
There is a woman in our church that is now cancer free but is suffering terribly from the chemo treatments given. It's been years since the cancer but now her kidneys are suffering because of treatment. She has tubes into them and they come through her back. She gets horrible spasms that wake her from a deep sleep at night. She says she's to the point where she wishes she could just..go. :(

That sounds horrible. I would really question how much chemo I would do if I had cancer. It is really hard on your body.

Well that Gabapentin has me well drugged so I'm going to lay down until I recover from it. It has be groggy but hasn't done a thing for my shoulder.
That’s what I find with pain pills. It makes me loopy but really does nothing for the pain.

Morning, no sleep for me either. Don't think I can take this pain longer. MRI isn't til the 27th. Hopefully it will tell me the problem at the least. I just don't know what to do at this point.
I hope everyone is having a good day so far.
So tough to be in that much pain. I hope the MRI will help the drs figure out what to do for you. They have a nerve block I think that would last a few days.

Sometimes I wonder which is worse, the sickness or the cure.
