Granny's gone and done it again

Scott would see things in his later stages if Alzheimers. A squirrel running across the yard. We dint have squirrels in the valley. We were visiting Mt sister's grave site and pointed to a dog beside her stone. No dog, real or stuffed. :(
That would explain a few things like "where are we going to put the body?"

I think Parkinson's does this, too. Not saying Tom has Parkindon's or that Scott did. Just that ... changes occur in the brain as we age, that can't be explained. Just keep on loving them, is about all we can do. :hugs

We are finished with all the chicken chores let some of the run free and they are at their own peril if they play in the rain instead of returning to their coops for shelter. They have feed and water to last through tomorrow if need be. It may rain from dawn to late into the night tomorrow. I will suit up in total rain gear and check on them during the day tomorrow. I fill feed bins in the coops today while filling feeders. All water fountains filled to the brim. Water fountains get fill most days but now in this 70°'s weather they are not drinking as much so some of the coops with 10 or less can go up to 3 days on a 5 gallon fill.

We are expecting some rain as early as tomorrow morning, I believe, but it shouldn't start to really hit us until tomorrow evening according to most meteorological models. But it is expected to linger over us all night Thursday, all day and night Friday, all day Saturday and start letting up some Saturday night and Sunday. We've been in drought for quite a while but this may be a case of too much of a good thing and we will probably have flash floods. Hope we can make it to church Saturday but won't be surprised if we are flooded in.

We do have a new backup plan for the feathered kids. We will put them all in our sun room for the event when needed. It's a multipurpose room we use for brooding an starting plants. It has it's on heating and cooling unit separate from the main house. It sets off of our utility room and can even be our mud room. I just need to build a holding pen with dividers so they can't fight.
