Is Tom on the deed?

that's crazy. I got notice from welfare today saying before I could sell this house they will have to be paid back every dime they have spent on Tom and myself. Makes me sick to my stomach

My mother had welfare. When she passed, we sold her house. Money was ours.

So if something happened to Tom and myself he would be homeless. I haven't told him. I just don't have the heart. I think there are special circumstances for disabled children. I have to read more

When mom passed, as you already know, I became guardian for Lisa.
He seems to be able to take care of himself pretty good. Check out what the state has to offer folks like him in his situation. I have a brother that needs state help. He's in an apt the state helped him get into. He has drs that he goes to regularly. I'm thankful he can do what he can and that the state can help him because I'm in no shape to take care of him.
