What are Linus and Lucy and why aren't they included in a category? Are they ... yearlings, so not calves? Too young to be breeders?

they are both 2 and Linus is now a steer, His job it to teach the littles that humans are NOT monsters OR things to be attacked. Lucy is a future breeder. I won't breed her until she's at least 3 and then only if she's a decent size.

Plan on keeping at least 3 of this years heifers for future replacements

Did you sell 10? I know you lost at least 1 to an accident or something?

I sold 5 or 6 or 7 heifers this spring and 4 bulls and 5 maybe 6 heifers last Thanksgiving.

wellllllllllllll that depends on what Old Gold's calf is. Yak cows can reproduce into their 20's

No I just don't insure any stock under 3 years old. And, Linus and Lucy are not in with the main herd.
