Granny's gone and done it again

Good looking calf. Sure not much greenery.
about 5 minutes after the pics some of the other "girls" came over CAUTIOUSLY to sniff the newest member of the herd, old Gold was fine with that, the calves BOUNCING over NOT so much. She's such a good mom.

It sure is a pretty calf.

Does everyone on here get the flu shot? I didn't. I've been taking vitamins religiously, thinking if I get sick it will help me fight it off. DH got the flu shot almost 3 weeks ago and has been fighting flu symptoms since. I know it doesn't mean he got it from the shot. He's on antibiotics, inhaler and Robitussin now.
I do. Drs have explained that yes, I could get sick in the winter, but the flu suits protect us from "the flu" that is hospitalizing folks across the pond. I'm getting older and older and older..😁 I don't want to go into the hospital because of the deadly one/flu.

A small soft pillow will be your best friend for a while and a heating pad if it hurts too much to get in your tub. I know how much you enjoy that.
It seems crazy, but I feel most comfortable laying on my right side, and just staying there all night.

@twisted-acres-farm, I always enjoy seeing pics of your cattle. Just beautiful creatures and that calf is particularly gorgeous. Her being a good mom just reflects on the good care she gets from you. Don't feel alone about the rain. We haven't had any here for what seems like about 2 months. the ground is cracked, everything is dried out. We could really use the rain right now.

Ahhhh, Granny. UTIs. The gift that keeps on giving. Drink lots of water. I keep Azo tablets on hand. You can get them OTC now and they really relieve the pain and burning while turning your pee that lovely orange color so festive this time of the year.
