Granny's gone and done it again

They’re trophy points which are a good thing and then I shared the links to the articles explaining the trophy points lol
I didn't think she meant trophy points because it says what they are right next to them.
Gnight Shrek, thank you
Gnight all

I'm so happy to say we're making excellent progress on the bumblefoot on one of Rojo's feet! We are not soaking in Epsom salts except we did once. I'm just washing his feet with the Veterycin spray and drying with a cotton pad. Then we put Mupiricin on another cotton pad and wrap it in place with vet wrap. He's so tolerant of treatment! DH holds him while I treat. Tonight the bumble on his right pad had shrunk significantly and when I wiped it dry the scab came right off. Underneath, the sole of his foot looked pink and healthy! I'm so tickled! We've been treating about every third day for about two weeks. His right foot still has a pretty good sized scab so we will continue treating.
I did a few bumble foot surgeries on chickens. Scott helped me. I've shared with photos here on BYC, somewhere. This treatment you're doing sounds interesting.

Steroid shots only last about 6 months for DH so his osteo Dr wants to give him these next time. I didn't go with him at his last appointment and he never understands the Dr. So I have to make him another appointment and go with him to find out.
I thought of this..the gel took a while for it to work, but it's worked better and longer.
So, I looked it up.....
Yes, a gel shot, also known as a viscosupplementation injection, can be used in the shoulder, but it's considered an experimental treatment option and is not FDA-approved for this use:

  • FDA approval: The FDA has only approved viscosupplementation injections for treating knee arthritis.

  • Evidence: There isn't enough evidence to support the use of gel injections for shoulder arthritis.

  • Insurance: Most insurance companies don't cover the cost of the procedure.

I guess y'all's gardens are gone now huh? No more fresh maters? They are still selling canning tomatoes here. $15-$20. a box
I still have garden fresh tomatoes, green onions, carrots, cantaloupe, cucumber, red beets, cabbage, kale, green beans. Dry beans are just starting along with my chicken corn project.
