Granny's gone and done it again

Do you think the change of having someone come into your home to help has been difficult for Robert? People with autism just aren't all alike.
Its hard for him. I have seen it before but this has been going on for a while now. I told him he was turning into the bully's that hurt him in school. It was pretty bad. I made police reports and insisted on a teacher going with him from class to class plus she ate lunch with him every day

Maybe psychotherapy could help him figure out what's bothering him inside and how to deal with it. He probably does feel'threatened' and probably does feel that you are alienating him Even though you have done absolutely nothing to boost his fears. He is going through a lot too and may not be able to handle it be himself, emotionally

I agree and I have tried many times but he refuses to go and at age 31 now I cant make him. He says ain't nobody gonna get in his head and change him. Something like that. He should of went many years ago.

Goodnight Granny Land. To tire to think straight so I'm going to bed.

Goodnight Granny Land. To tire to think straight so I'm going to bed. Got to be up early for my biopsy. While at the PC doc he went and made a call and said you have an appointment in the morning for your biopsy. That's service.
oh wow! that is service! I hope it goes well and you can hold very still. That means no swallowing or coughing!

You are describing DH to a T. The time has to be ripe. They have to be ready. For DH it was when he did something the law got involved. He was on high level of steroids and couldn't control himself. I had to hire a lawyer. I told him it would go much easier for him if he shows he's going for help. It all turned out fine and whenever we hit a hard spot, his Dr has him speak with someone for awhile. It does help because they have fears they are unable to address with us
