The only reason I canceled my knee surgery this year is because I kept feeling uncomfortable about this surgeon's manner with me in office. I canceled, went to another, and by then the gel shot had started to work somewhat. This surgeon was awesome in explaining that those types of shots take time to kick in. He wasn't upset that I came in to let him know I didn't think I needed surgery discussion or possible surgery after all. I wonder why that first surgeon couldn't have told me to wait and see if the shot would work. I had told him that I had it and how long ago.
Yes, I've had a few not so nice guys out there. But mostly good. :)

Today I am thankful for: the Drs who have been so wonderful to us. There are lots of them! Yesterday DH had an appointment with the Dr who dilated his esophagus so he could once again swallow without choking.
Having to fear that you are going to choke with each mouthful of food you eat isn't pleasant.
I wasn't bashing Drs last evening. I have the utmost respect for our Drs....
 
I’m thinking of taking Brew on a big walk/kind of hike at some point soon lol apparently they cleared the path to the trails finally and put brand new bog boards down so you can actually walk and it’s not in the mud or poison ivy/brush anymore LOL someone posted on FB last night about it. It looks really nice!!! So I’m thinking of going over there at some point. But I’ll probably keep him on a leash or the long line. Maybe not the 30 foot one though cause he can still get into trouble that way lol but maybe like the 15 foot one or something? Or just the normal 6 foot leash should be fine too. Idk. I just don’t really want him running off to play with 5 million other dogs anymore LOL he used to but it worries me now lol not cause of him but cause of them lol

I had that done! It's been years ago, now I'm needing it again. Can't even hardly swallow pills.
I have to chew and chew and chew my food. No fun.
