Granny's gone and done it again

Not whooping cough. His throat is swollen. They gave him steroid..the swallowing kind. Said to watch him closely and if he starts wheezing again to take him to the ER. Ibuprofen and Tylenol. Says it viral.
He's home. Bronwyn will be watching him through the night. I can hear him coughing. He's so worn out. Hope he can fall asleep. Dr did say if he gets croup to take him out to the cold or steamy bath.

Granny, hoping Tom stays in bed. He'll forget what he said by morning.
You won't. Its something we try and stay strong with throughout the illness. Start remembering when you first met. Remember some good thoughts/times. It helped me to do this. We sure notice they aren't the same person we knew. There's a reason why it's called the slow goodbye. It's hard honey, I know. I wish I could give you a real hug..a long one.

Cold makes me worse but steam helps alot
