I have killed the power and begged, pleaded and promised it my first born, opened up the drain pan area (inside) and checked for water and or 'grunge" and the bugger still beeps and flashes codes at me

Beautiful! Where is the hot water tank? Maybe just too small to see properly...I loved cooking on mine up in MT. You could slide the skillet around until you found just the right spot to cook on. ... mine had an upper level for keeping biscuits warm. I think it was a Monarch?
