I couldn’t stay out of them.Ma made some peanut butter cookies today that had some strawberry/muscadine jam in them. Talk about a new level of good but they need to be put under lock and key.

Its Magic! Wow, who would of thunk. I bet that took forever too huh?She made a depression in one and filled with jelly and then put a top piece on and sealed it in then baked.
Well, it worked. I feel very thankful. Krogers savory chicken, Mashed potatoes(instant) dressing,(my favorite) and fresh frozen from her friends garden green beans. No rolls or dessert but I didn't mind. I felt very lucky to have a friend like Nancy. How did your meal turn out
Me either!I couldn’t stay out of them.
The struggle is real.I couldn’t stay out of them.
Hot fudge! OMG Killing me over here..I put Ma up to making some like this rather than just plain peanut butter cookies. One year I put my DIL up to doing the same but instead of jelly I had her use hot fudge filling for the centers.
With a fork like sealing a pie crust. But, how did she seal the top part w/o crushing the cookie?
and that didn't just go thru the whole cookie? I would like to see a picture of her cookies. I'm a visual learner. With a fork like sealing a pie crust.
The fork seal doesn't show in the final cookie like it can on a pie crust. If any survive the night I'll get a picture tomorrow. The cookies absorbed the jelly on the inside while they were baking. You can taste it but not really see it except for a few tiny spots.and that didn't just go thru the whole cookie? I would like to see a picture of her cookies. I'm a visual learner.
