Too much on your plate to remember everything, Granny. Make yourself a list and put it in your purse. Sounds like your dr is on your side and looking out for you and Tom. No way is he ready for rehab yet, that silly woman! You fight for him Granny, you know what's best for him. Imagine putting such a sick man in rehab and having him make everybody there sick, not to mention him not getting treated himself! Medical malpractice big time. Makes me grrr!

That's usually how it's done..and..admitting lady? They aren't in charge of that. She was just following orders, from someone. Maybe the ER dr. ?
Too bad you have to go through this. You need to rest. I know you don't like water, but it's the best to flush this crud out.
At least rest, when you can. Sounds like they're getting things ordered and ready for his admittance. Can take a long time. I know, I've gone from the ER to a room after few times.
Hopefully he'll eventually be seen by his own dr. I always was.
