You made me laugh, Cynthia. My legs have always been my best feature and the funny thing is, I got them from ... my DAD! It was always the family joke that he had the se#iest legs in the family. He did, and it quite embarrassed him.Check out those se&y legs.
sigh.. sameUnfortunately, I also got his nose ... *sigh!*
Sounds like his Alzheimer's kicks in, in the evening. Sundowner's. Sorry about the hearing aid, that's a bummer. Those things are expensive. Don't suppose a person can insure the silly things. If/when I get hearing aids I will see about insurance. My brother said my dad would go nuts in the hospital after surgery, they'd have to restrain him coming out of anesthesia - and he didn't have dementia. Not pleasant. My brother had no patience with him. But I'm sure they'll get Tom settled again, Granny. How did you sleep last night? And how did you get back and forth to the hospital?Hey all, long day. I changed Tom hearing aid battery's and he still said he couldn't hear. I know they were working. I fed him what he could eat from his dinner plate today which was mashed taters/gravy and a small cup of pudding. The chicken I couldn't even chew. I helped him get up along with 2 PT workers He isn't really walking. He was pretty calm the time I was there but nurse said all hell broke loose this evening. He is trying to take things out. He was taking the hearing aids out and supposedly lost half of one. Nurse cant find it. That's going to cost us a lot to get replaced. When I called he was working on his IV. My meds didn't get delivered today for the COVID. Maybe I don't even need them. It's just a lil skin right? I have ate half a sandwich today
You pegged it right. Sundowners is real! My mom had it with her Dementia and Scott too. They gave me medication for Scott.Sounds like his Alzheimer's kicks in, in the evening. Sundowner's.
