Granny's gone and done it again

V tach:

Ventricular tachycardia begins in the lower chambers (ventricles) and is quite fast. When it lasts only a few seconds, ventricular tachycardia may cause no problems. But when sustained, ventricular tachycardia can lower the blood pressure, resulting in syncope (fainting) or lightheadedness.

This might be why he's sleeping a lot? How did he do today, Granny?

Treatment options include medication to slow the heart rate, surgery, and an implantable device.

I imagine they would not do options 2 or 3.
The Dr said the heart is not pumping enough blood to all of his extremities.

I agreed with him as far as life support is concerned. I guess the COVID did its damage to his lungs also restarting his heart at the cost of broken ribs just seemed to be too much He said life support is great for younger people that doesn't have the problems Tom does. He said he would do everything else possible to save his life. They started different meds for his heart today. He said Tom is very sick though and he isn't sure how successful they will be.
It sound# like he has a very good doctor. Glad he is getting such good care.

We have been married 30 years and I feel very blessed to have him in my life and my childrens lives as well. He is a good husband and has done all he can to get me the things he thought I wanted. He is tired. I can see that.
He is a very good man. I am glad they are taking the best care of him.

I woke up a few minutes ago to find the power off. Got my wife woke up and on a bottle of oxygen because the O2 generator is not on a backup power supply.

Granny I hope that the docs can do whatever is best for Tom. What you don't know is that there are several Tom's in my family as my paternal grandfather was Tom. I had 2 cousins named Tom and our oldest is named Tom. I have found all the Toms in our lives to be good men and it sounds like you married a very good Tom.

Morning, I feel so weak. Like I cant even get up for coffee right now. On a good note although nothing has changed except the meds seem to be helping his heart stay out of v tack which can not sustain life according to nurse today Tom was sitting up in bed eating breakfast!
