Granny's gone and done it again

Gmorning all, Waiting on Nancy and Kevin . They should be here around 10. It seems to get earlier every week they come!
I talked to Toms nurse, said he was doing fine and he was down in therapy right now. I wish he could talk on the phone but seeing how his sense of time is off its probably a good thing he cant.
I hope everyone has a great day.

Such a blessing to have a holiday that represents Love Peace and joy. My sister called me since she was needing a listening ear. They are grieving for a 30 year old father of 7 children including 2 week old twins from their community, life got to dark for him and now he leaves his family to grieve on Christmas Day. ervices are tomorrow. My niece With autism overheard them taking about some details so they had their hands full. She can't process it so it came out in behavioral issues at school. People were gifting them cookies and candy and she was trying to hide it from my niece who gets hyper from sugar.
Brought back memories of our first Christmas without Dad
Farms, your sister lost her husband? I'm so sorry! Prayers for her and her family. Might want to post in Prayer Warriors thread, will get lots of support there.

I never answered your question the other day, Granny about why certain foods burn my mouth sometimes. Here:

lichen planus is not the same as burning mouth syndrome, although both can present with a burning sensation in the mouth, but lichen planus is a distinct autoimmune disease characterized by visible lesions in the mouth, while burning mouth syndrome is a diagnosis of exclusion where the primary symptom is a burning sensation without noticeable oral mucosal changes

It's pronounced LI- ken PLAY- nuss.

My brother has it on the skin of his torso, it presents in big brown patches. I don't know if it's sensitive, itches or burns.

Morning nap is over and I've had lunch. Not fit weather being everything is wet and it's quite cloudy now with more wind that I like with the temp in the 50's. That's good enough for another nap. 5 more antibiotic pills left to take. Not going to risk a relapse working outside in this weather. We'll go out a 3:30 to feed and water an will not let the kids out today so I'm not out at dark again. They have been out most every day for weeks not so the will just have to get over not being pampered one day.
