Granny's gone and done it again

Do you know what exercises they're having him do, and can you keep him doing them? If he continues his PT at home he should stay strong and not fall. But just laying around all day, he'll get weak again.

(Same goes for you, Lady.)
I know some of them. He is supposed to get PT here when he gets home.

I honestly don't know Blue. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. I just hope he doesn't start falling again.
Do you mind if I ask what he is dealing with?

He went to the ER for COVID and New moan ya. He was very sick and lost his ability to walk. They put him rehab where he has been for a month now. They claim his dementia got worse and he has been very confused but I don't buy that. I think there was a different reason. One thing for sure, he isn't the same person that went in

The pneumonia may have made his dementia worse. Some of that can get better over time. High fevers can do that too. It can take a long time to come back.
When DH was in the hospital with spiking fevers, he came home 'an old man'. His mind made improvements over the next couple months. I can't say it all came back but it improved.

I hope your Tom does too!:hugs
