Granny's gone and done it again

Forgot to close up the pet coop. Now I'm going to get frost bit. It's down to 40° already.
LOL

No, I don't cook 3 times a day. We don't like the same things for breakfast so I fix mine Pa fixes his. Lunch is usually a sandwich or hotdogs with soup or fruit. Sometimes its leftovers or a frozen dinner. I usually cook supper (dinner for Northerner's lol) meat and 2 vegetables. I cook enough for at least 4 meals and put half on microwaveable plates and freeze them. For example I will cook 4 hamburgers, green beans and rice. I will serve 2 hamburgers, half the beans and a serving of rice tonight. The remainder goes on microwave plates for another day. After Christmas I made 10 plates of leftovers and put them in the freezer. It just takes a little planning.
Unfortunately I didn't inherit that gene. I also have no planning skills at all. I will literally ask other people what I want to eat.
I used to cut up banana into vanilla yogurt. The thought has me craving it. Granny is chicken to try it. :gig :lau

Well, I am not very observant! I'm on my laptop and your signature is plain as the nose on your face!!! :lau But thank you for clarifying that.
You're welcome. I'm on my phone so don't usually see signatures.
Also, I'm extremely impressed that you raised your grandchildren! :bow :love
Lol, we've heard that before, but when the State calls you up and says your grandkids, who've been in foster care all thrir lives, are now going up for permanent placement, and you get first dibs at them or they're going to be raised by strangers, whattaya say? Oh fine, sell 'em to the highest bidder? Oh hell no.

I would have loved to see my grandson more, but not sure I could have raised him. We have always lived at least 1,200 miles from him, except for his first few months of life when we did get to see him a lot. Love him to death!!! He is getting married in October!!! :love
I understand. I have five other grands that I haven't seen in ... 15 years I guess. Or more? They live in other states too. Yeah, it's a sadness. But I still pray for them, every day. They'll always be my babies. ❤️

Hope you made it back in without frostbitten toes!!! 🤣

I love saving leftovers in the freezer! When you take them out later it doesn't seem like leftovers at all!
I don't care if I never see a snowflake again. Or ice that is not from my freezer for my tea. If I could have my way the temp would drop to 60° at night and warm to 80° by day in the summer and in the winter 50° at night and warm to 70°. Two seasons.
Maybe move to So Cal? 🤣
LOL
