Granny's gone and done it again

Now for some good news! SD was at church yesterday when the treasurer called her to the office. She wanted to know why she hadn't cashed the check they gave her for Christmas. She knew nothing about it. She couldn't sleep last night and went looking for the Christmas card they gave them. She found it. $1,600.00 She said God didn't let her see it til now when they needed it the worst.

Wow their church gave them that much money? I need to change churches

Our church is so helpful too. They have a help for those in real need to receive food every month..a months worth for the whole family! They don't choose it for you, you choose what you need. Different kinds of meats, soups, flour, sugar, vegetables, fruits, the list goes on! Also, if clothing, blankets, kitchen needs, even furniture is needed, they give that.
When I was single with my four kids I got church help with the most beautiful Quilts and heavy blankets. We needed them!
They helped me a lot while single. I didn't need to go on welfare.

They don’t give anyone checks though. They do pay peoples rent.

Here it is. It's out in the rabbit hole because it takes so much space, and it's noisy. This is the smallest of the Harvest Rights. Perfect for us. Each tray holds enough for a meal for the two of us, so every time I run it, I'm preserving 4 meals. It is what I do with my leftovers. I save them on the trays in the freezer until I have 4 trays then I run it.

Also how do you store the meals? Do they have to be kept frozen?
