My mother had a cat that lived to 22. I had to be the one to take her. Mom didn't drive. That poor cat was so sick. Blind and deaf. You could hit the floor and she would come to the feeling of it. Her name was Lovey.Well, I have an old dog...12+ years and an old cat...14+ years...so....
I would hate to be the one to decide to put them down. I know sometimes it's for the best. Maybe I would say different if I would see them suffer terrible. My mother had a cat that lived to 22. I had a Golden Retriever, well three, but my first was getting so bad wirh pain that he couldn't even stoop over to go potty, he just stood there. That still wasn't the last straw for me. It was when he couldn't even walk beside me for three steps. Then I noticed his shoulders were popping out! He would just lay down. I finally said, ok buddy.I would hate to be the one to decide to put them down. I know sometimes it's for the best. Maybe I would say different if I would see them suffer terrible.

He could feel things around the outside of her body.I would hate to be the one to decide to put them down. I know sometimes it's for the best.
