I got the mature muscadine vine that came with the property pruned about 80% of the way today. Another round will have it ready to bud out in March getting ready to bloom and set a crop again. The fruit size is the size of the wine muscadine varieties and makes excellent jam. They may be a little larger this year after the fertilizing and pruning they got.

I've planted 5 different grape Vines here. I guess they don't like my dirt or the weeds surrounding them. Its been many years they just sit there about a ft. tall

Granny only weeds can be planted and forgotten about. You should be able to grow wild grapes. I used to harvest wild grapes in NW MO for jelly. Only thing is that jelly would turn to sugar crystals like honey does sometimes. I'd like to to have some wild grapes now for jelly to see if the crystalized jam could be restored with heating in a microwave.

I have seen wild one here in my yard. That's what made me think I could grow them. The weeds here are impossible to pull up. Your better off digging the plant up and try to get rid of them that way. Its some type of grass.
