I will be happy for all the ice that melts before the next snow tomorrow. The birds are so cheerfully singing. Spring is on it's way.

Good morning Granny Land. 62° here on the farm now. Not going to need to burn up the kilowatts today as it is supposed to only get to 69°. With 60° for a low tonight our garden ground is continuing to warm up.

I was told that even with all the health benefits that they make arthritis worse... Told that by the biology profs at the college were I was working.

It's been weeks since I've taken the morning Gabapentin but today I am. Shoulder is on fire with nerve pain from the pinching in my neck. It's time to make the appointment for the neurologist doc.

The walks are melting off as I clear them but as I go back to the house they are icy. The car got stuck in the parking lot. I didn't really want it stuck because the predictions this week are snow and freezing rain. I wanted to park it in front of the house by the front door. Our parking lot is a slight slope. So I cleared a spot on the road in front of the house. Then shoveled the top crust of sleet from behind the car and swept the gravel clear behind the car. Gave it some gas and got it out. DH went to the store and hopefully this time he comes home with salt. Going to the car from the front door has a lot of steps. Going out the back door is flat but much farther to the car.
Guess if it will be icy this week we stay in the house, less risk of slipping on ice!

If my car ever wants to get stuck I want it to happen after I’ve gone shopping, everything that I needed to do is done, I’m ready to relax in a cozy fuzzy blanket in front of the cozy looking wood fire with a cup of tea or hot cocoa and the forecast for the following day is a high of 76 degrees.
