Granny's gone and done it again

and I am just the opposite. As the self-defrost causes freezer burn much quicker IMHO and only chest type freezers for me. That way I don't lose all the cold air when I open the door.
I like chest freezers too but ma really needs an upright. She broke a rib just trying to get laundry out of a top loading washing machine. It's hard for her to dig down to the bottom of our chest type that we have now. We actually have two chest types. She wants an upright for short term meal planning items that she can get to without digging through the big chest freezer that is getting old.

My freezer is the chest type, Twist, and I can barely reach to bottom of it - can't, in fact, and keep my feet on the floor! Some day I am going to fall right in!
I gave Robert the chest freezer and took the side x side . I cant reach the washing machine either. I'm not short. 5'6''. I lost an inch and half somewhere down the road
