I don't know how to make meatballs or gravy. The brown gravy you buy in a glass jar I don't care for.Meat balls with brown gravy over rice with a can of collard greens... Don't get much easier and that doesn't work against the air conditioner.
Just a can of plain sauce? It all sounds good. You may be able to find the meatballs already made in the frozen foods section. Swedish meatballs are oh such a treat in tomato sauce over spaghetti and there are no seed or peel in the sauce.

We get packets of the brown gravy mix. Just add water and stir... Easy. Meat balls from the frozen food case. Basically brown and serve with noodles or rice covered in the gravy. All kinds of gravy in those packets. Onion, Mushroom, Beef, Turkey, Pork, and just plain generic brown. When we had a Kroger we just bought store brand and that was good. Now we get Publix store brand or Walmart store brand. The fancy name brand is no better to us but costs more and the difference is better spent on another needed food.I don't know how to make meatballs or gravy.
