Granny's gone and done it again

DH is 120 lbs
It happened for sure. She had nurses with her but they say they can't use restraint. We did make a police report. The hospital was responsible to keep him safe and make him feel safe. If she kept coming in in his room when they took her on walks they could have closed his door when they walked past. He was a fall risk and they keep those patients locked in a unit together. They pretty a belt on him when he walked which is a form of restraint.
He was very miserable and paranoid. That's why I took him to a different hospital this last time. At least I could rest
This is unbelievable. I'm so sorry to hear this happened to him. :hugs

Not much, you? I walked twice yesterday LOL
We have had company for 2 weeks, different families. 1 left this morning and other coming this evening for a couple of days. Son and daughter in law stayed a week, sister in law was here for 2 days and daughter and son in law coming tonight for a couple of days. At least they have been good help in the garden.

So nice that your family is close - if not geographically, at least "close" in the sense that they make time to come and spend time with you. You are blessed!

That is horrible. Shame on those nurses. 120 is pretty tiny. Has he always been like that? Tom lost so much weight in the hospital. It was scary. I haven't weighed him lately but last time I did he was gaining good.

Oh wow!!!!!!!!

All of DH#1's siblings and their kids descended on us one Memorial Day. Something like 17 people. I was so excited, I really liked those people and his sisters were great cooks and always cleaned up after themselves. All I had to do was point and say, The grocery store is 3 miles thataway, you gals knock yourselves out! It was so much fun. Good times.

I cooked once a day, but cooked enough for another meal each time. Most of the visitors were self sufficient and helped feed themselves and anyone who couldn't fix for themselves. Sister in law bought a full Mexican meal from the local eatery last night so I didn't have to cook or clean up. They all helped with chores and planting. It was a good visit.

I used to host Christmas and Thanksgiving to at least that many. A couple people would bring a dish but not many. After doing this for years I told them it was someone elses turn to host dinner. Not one person offered and Tom, Robert and myself ended up at the drive thru at Burger King. I was pretty pizzed about it and never cooked for them all again
