Green poop from grass?

My 4 week old chicks have been spending lots of time outside recently and have been eating TONS of grass. I noticed when bringing them inside (it looked like it was going to rain) I noticed this. I am not really concerned or anything but just wanted to be sure as I am new to this stuff.

Diet will affect the color of poop. If they have been eating some greens/grass, then yes, this can color the poop a greenish tinge.

Do make sure to provide grit (crushed granite) for you chicks so they can process foods/grasses.
