Green runny poop, not sure what to do first.

I'm sorry you lost her. I hope someone more knowledgeable will have a better idea of what happened.

Fly high and free, beautiful Snickers.

Hugs for you.

oh no!, im sorry to hear that you lost your hen! heart attack, seizure, asphyxiation?...Im truly sorry. sounds like you did all that you could to keep her comfortable and safe, without a proper diagnosis or blood work its hard to tell what she was harboring inside her little body...do you have other chickens on the premises? I know you kept Snickers in quarantine. I have to tell you that my hens progress is very slow, still has intermittent greenish diarrhea she's very active, voracious appetite, water intake is normal, she has almost normal brownish poop in between i started her on Amoxicillin 2 days ago at the recommendation of a fellow BYC member, took away or reduced her green food intake greens and herbs, feeding more solids, she picks out her favorite pieces from the feed, 75% / 25% ration layer feed and scratch, the same products and brand i raised her and all the other birds in the flock, She seems better had it not been for the persistent greenish watery poop. Im thinking there could be a bacterial or viral infection in her digestive tract, maybe a yeast infection in her croup?

Snickers can now rest in peace.
A few minutes ago, before going to bed, I checked on her. She looked normal, she was on her perch and looking around attentively. I approached the crate, she looked up and I know she was aware of my presence, as always. So I turned off the light in the family room and I went to my bedroom. As I brushed my teeth, I heard a loud commotion in her crate, I rushed towards her and I heard her shaking around and flapping her wings. I first thought this silly girl is dust bathing in her crate, but as I got closer I could now see that she was belly side up, then suddenly she stopped all movement and went limp; immediately after her skin and wadles started to turn yellow. I knew then her heart had just stopped. Could she have had a heart attack? Just an hour earlier she was alive and walking around the room outside her crate. I'm baffled. If anyone has any thoughts, I welcome your explanation. She was only about 3 years old.

I so sorry you lost your Snickers. It sounds like you did everything you could. Sometimes we just don’t know the ‘Why’ of it last year the neighbors turkey was following my grands and I and the next minute he was over on his side, dead. We think it was a heart attack.
