I am looking for anyone with info on Saddleback Pomeranian geese. I have a trio of greys and am looking for Buffs but would like to know more about genetics with their color pattern and breeding lines. Please help! I am in love with these geese and want to know more about them. Thanks!!

It's starting to get a bit late in the year for Pomeranians.

I hope to be driving for goslings next week from a breeder who doesn't ship and I've heard from a couple of folks with Poms that they have stopped laying for the year.

Got your PM and am composing an answer.

Here is some of my flock. On the left is my juvenile goose Caboosh, her dad John, and on the water her mom, Jean. Right now I have 6 full sized Buffs, 1 six week old, 2 three week olds, and 2 three day old goslings from Kawonu's eggs (the last 4 sent from Celtic....smile).

I also have an additional 6 eggs from Kawonu set to hatch Friday and 5 more eggs from my original pair that will hatch late May through early June. I don't sell goslings, but my goose has mysteriously began laying again pretty frequently with decent fertility. I don't know how long that will last, but if I would be happy to sell you the eggs if I can get 2-3 within 7-9 days of each other.

Finishing your PM...will send in a few minutes with details....

Contact Claire Shire in Golden, CO. You can get her number from the 4-H Club in Boulder. She raises Buffs and her geese have the best bloodlines in the World, they are stunning.
