Speck, our funny and affectionate "Heinz 57" chicken was sold to us as a Silkie. He obviously is not. He does have 5 toes and the hilarious and comical mohawk leads me to believe he may be a Polish Bantam. This is the first time we've ever had chickens so we aren't to familiar with a large variety of breeds. We do have 2 Silkies and 1 Silkie hybrid and Speck looks nothing like any of them. I've attached multiple photos (the first and last being most recent) and the ones in between are when he was a peep (not sure if that will help identify him or not). Anyone else have any ideas as to what kind of chicken he is?
