What kind of breed are my hens? 🤔

Where did you get them? The thing is each breed can have a multiple of colors of feathers - for example Leghorns, can be white, brown, exchequer, barred, mille flour, and red. All the leghorn breeds, all totally different color feathers.

I think you have a bunch of mutts - maybe not all of them, but I have mutts - and a lot of mine look like several of yours. So, where did you get them? Usually those people have some idea.

As for knowing what to expect, well really you can only expect that they will lay eggs and cluck. Even in each breed, there tends to be a lot of variability in behavior, production and personality.

Agreed. They are game mixes. I see no evidence of anything other than game in them because their type is quite light
