Just introducing myself and my flock of ducks !
Located in Central Texas. We have one drake, Caillou and he is as handsome as can be as a Cayuga. Gentlest lover in all the land. His ladies are Elsa + Anna (Blue Swedish), Loca( Fawn & White Runner ), Blossom (Blue Runner), Gunmental aka Gunny (Black Runner ). We also currently have 3 Chocolate girls about 5 weeks old who are near identical and so they’re nameless, 2 of which will be finding a new home once they’re fully grown. Then next week a Silver Runner young , and 2 Cayuga ladies will be joining our flock as well. I only got the Cayuga ladies so Elsa and Anna who are my human daughter’s ducks have some lady friends their size and speed, plus I’m intrigued by their mystical dark eggs. They just can’t keep up with the runners haha.
My dream would be to have one of each runner color so if anyone in my neck of the woods has Trout, Splash , Apricot , and so on of female runner ducklings or hens , message me !
The flock testing their boundaries but so far the yearlings have been great with the babies. Caillou has his hands full with his ladies so he doesn’t pay any mind to the babes.
