Hard boiling quail eggs

Hey folks.

Do I need to wait to hard boil quail eggs like we do with our chicken eggs? (Since the fresh chicken eggs don't peel easily.)

I have only had quail eggs once. The membrane is pretty thick, so I would assume the older they are the better.

I never waited and they peeled fairly easily

Actually... you can put the boiled eggs in vinegar for 3 hours to dissolve the shell. The membrane prevents the eggs from pickling. The membrane comes off with a pinch.

I'll have to try that, I thought they were a pain to peel.
