Hey guys!
I am interested in DIYing horse tail lights!
We rotate our horses pastures from here, to down the street in through out the year. Our pasture at our house isn't perfect, it is all panels, except the gate is electric wire, which the horses can break through, and haven't since we put up the panels, but I really just want it for piece of mind. Anyway, I am interested in putting tail lights on them at night, so that we can always see were they are. To make sure there in, and I think it will be neat looking! So I found lights that are waterproof, battery powered, and there are 8 difference colors all in 8 separate strands which are 7 feet long each. Now, I just need a way to attach them to the tail.

The brand tail lights, used a tail boot to keep them on, is there a way to DIY the boot? Or do you think I should use some kind of clip, or even something that braids in to the top of the tail. Wondering if you have any suggestions!

I would braid it on the tail. That will probably hold it best but I dont have horses.😉 good luck! Let me know how it goes and post pics
Will do! I was thinking maybe a chunk of fabric with extra string ties. The lights attached to the fabric, and then the ties can loop through a braid in the top of the tail. Hope it works! I will definitely post pics! ☺️

Oh sorry! I was typing fast, and it auto corrected to defiantly, lol! It is supposed to say definitely. I will correct that. Thanks for catching it!

I wasn't tryna bust you or nothing, I just see that particular mistake a lot and it always makes my eyebrow twitch, so I gotta say something. Tell your auto correct to shape up!
