Has anyone ever seen an albino chicken?

One of my Salmon Faverolles is albino, which is really ironic because my boyfriend is actually albino too. What are the chances! Shes much smaller than the others (they are all less than 1 week old). The other 9 chicks are double her size. She also seems to have problems being near or far sighted, or problems with depth perception (things my boyfriend also struggles with). I knew right away by looking at her eyes. Theyre not blood red like many other albino chickens or albino animals can be, but they are red with a very very faint hue of a light blue iris that is hard to see. She is quite fiesty and is struggling to learn the basics compared to the others, but I am doing the best I can to ensure she gets everything she needs. She fights me every step of the way, haha. At first I was afraid she would spontaneously die, which makes my boyfriend very sad and made him cry because he obviously feels a connection to his little chick twin. I would provide a picture but its hard to tell in a photo she is albino, the eyes are hard to capture a picture of and her baby hairs are the same color as the others. Her actual wing feathers are white as snow, however.

'Sport' is just a term used for an unexpected color popping up in a line. In the case of Legbars, it was just recessive white appearing out of Creams. They can be male or female, not just male, and this is different from albinism.

There is a sexlinked albinism gene from my understanding, an allele of silver if I remember correctly. I do not personally know if there are other albinism genes in chickens. Eyesight problems are common with albino birds, unfortunately, and they often don't live very long, either because of that or because they just seem to be less sturdy than non-albinos in general. At least that's the impression I've gotten from the limited reading I've done on the topic. Very interested in seeing the albino Faverolles mentioned as well! :pop
